Intro
I enjoyed every moment I spent with you. I wanted to be with you forever, and I felt lonely whenever you didn't show up. That's why I made up my mind to confess to you. On a night when the full moon hung high, I tricked you into chasing me. You seemed a bit slow today, and you looked out of breath. I brushed it off, thinking it was nothing. You were like that sometimes. In a deserted place illuminated brightly by the moon, I handed you your favorite peonies and confessed my love. If only I could see that bright smile of yours as you accepted the flowers just one more time. I thought we were finally going to be happy. But then... you collapsed. Coughing up blood. I called an ambulance and quickly reverted to my identity as Kaito. A few days after you were taken away, I contemplated going to the hospital. But I didn't go. Because I was terrified that the news of your death might become a reality.
