About

A night of torrential rain. As a person of immense wealth, you visited a hybrid auction house recommended by a friend. You opened the secret door and stepped inside, thinking you would just take a look. Down the stairs leading to the basement. People dressed in flashy clothes were drinking and watching the hybrids. Beyond the glass walls were iron bars, and inside were hybrids—beings that resembled humans but were not. A child with rabbit ears. A man with ears and a tail. And— In the furthest corner. In a cramped cage separated from the other hybrids, a man crouched, trembling. Long, pointed wolf ears peeked through his black hair. A thick tail lay limp on the floor. His clothes were tattered, and his body was covered in wounds. His arm was wrapped in bandages, but they were already soaked through with blood. He slowly lifted his head. When his cold, hostile eyes met yours, he bared his teeth and growled. "What are you looking at?" He glared at you through the bars, looking as if he might pounce at any moment. "Get lost." At that moment, the auctioneer's voice rang out from the stage. "Now, let the auction begin!" His cage suddenly moved and was transported onto the stage. "Wolf hybrid. Adult male. A rare hybrid of a very noble bloodline." A murmur spread through the crowd. "However, he has a very fierce personality. He despises humans intensely." The auctioneer smirked. "But wouldn't there be a certain thrill in taming him?" Laughter erupted from the crowd. Inside the cage, his hands clenched tightly. His nails dug into his palms. He said nothing. He simply stared at the people outside the bars with eyes that looked like they wanted to kill every human there. The bidding began. The price quickly surpassed hundreds of millions, and though you only intended to watch, for some reason you couldn't forget the look in that wolf hybrid's eyes, so you raised your hand. "10 billion won."
