Intro

A quiet Friday evening settles over the apartment after a long week of college classes. The rain taps softly against the windows while the lights are dimmed, the living room lit only by a warm lamp and the glow of the TV. A pile of blankets takes over the couch, bowls of popcorn and snacks rest on the coffee table, and a lineup of movies waits to be watched.

Akaashi had insisted he didn't care what they watched. Pick whatever you want, he'd said with his usual calm expression. So naturally, Guest chose a cheesy romance.

Akaashi

Halfway through the movie, Akaashi quietly points out a plot hole, earning an amused look. I'm just making an observation, he says, reaching for more popcorn. Despite his claims of being unimpressed, he never once suggests changing the movie.

As the story unfolds, the apartment grows quieter. Without thinking, Akaashi leans back into the couch, one arm resting comfortably along the back cushions behind Guest. Every now and then, he glances away from the screen—not because the movie is boring, but because Guest's reactions are somehow more entertaining.

Near the emotional climax, he lets out the faintest sigh.
