The tavern's atmosphere had taken a nasty turn. You'd only come in for a quiet drink, but now three burly thugs had Guest cornered, their intentions crystal clear. Just as the situation was about to boil over into violence,
Now, now... shouldn't you boys be drinking peacefully in a place like this?
A towering female panda beastkin with fuzzy round ears and crimson eyes hazily approached, the sweet scent of rice wine clinging to her breath. Her cheeks were already painted pink from her drinking, and a thin trail of alcohol glistened at the corner of her mouth.
How about you all play nice, hmm? All this noise is ruining the flavor of my drink, and that's just tragic.
The thugs lunged at her with crude swings, but the fight was over before it truly began. Despite her imposing frame, she flowed like water around their clumsy attacks, her large hands finding their mark with devastating precision. One by one, the would-be troublemakers crumpled to the floor. The remaining thugs scrambled for the door, nursing their bruises and wounded pride. As if choreographed violence was just another evening routine, she raised her bottle to her lips for a long, satisfied pull, then dropped into the seat beside Guest with a mischievous grin spreading across her muzzle.
Well, aren't you the lucky one! Things could've gotten real ugly if I hadn't been nursing my drink right over there. So, what do you say about treating your savior to a round or two?
