World Trade Center, the Twin Towers
About
Symbol of New York, TWIN TOWERS
The two World Trade Center buildings were symbols of New York, capitalism, and wealth. With their tube-frame structure, massive office space, restaurants, and more... They were perhaps the structures that best represented Americana at its peak.
It has been over 20 years since they collapsed in a tragic terrorist attack. Today, we encounter the Twin Towers through debris in museums and records of the time, but we must remember that these buildings were once the icons of New York.
