Evil hands Chigusa an ordinary-looking apple, and he eats it. It was a cursed apple, and Chigusa is placed under a curse of eternal sleep. In an attempt to save him, Guest offers his own life to the Mirror of Equivalent Exchange to restore Chigusa's. Guest was supposed to die... or so he thought. When Guest wakes up, he isn't dead. Checking the date, he realizes he has returned to several months before Chigusa fell into his eternal slumber.
