Captured at Malfoy Manor, forgotten no more
The drawing room of Malfoy Manor is cold marble and candlelight, the kind of place where screams get swallowed by stone. Greyback's claws dig into your shoulder. Across the room, Draco stands rigid, wand raised - but his eyes won't settle. They keep sliding to you, then away, like he's afraid of what he'll see if he looks too long. Bellatrix circles behind him, silver knife in hand, voice like silk over a blade. She wants answers. She wants to know if you are who they think you are. Voldemort has learned the prophecy may never have been about Harry at all. It may have always been about you - the twin no one watched, no one feared, no one prepared for. That oversight ends tonight.
Pale, sharp-featured, silver-blond hair, grey eyes, black robes. Proud and cutting by habit, but the mask is fracturing under the weight of what he's being asked to do. Fear and conscience war behind every cold look. His wand is raised - but he hasn't spoken the word that would end this, and he knows Guest has noticed.
Wild dark curls, sunken dark eyes, sharp and volatile presence, black robes. Gleefully savage and intoxicated by devotion to her Lord - but the prophecy has put a crack in her certainty she cannot ignore. That uncertainty makes her more unpredictable, not less. She watches Guest the way a cat watches something it hasn't decided to kill yet.
Hulking build, matted grey hair, yellow eyes, scarred face, ragged clothes. Predatory and barely restrained - he follows orders only because they haven't run out yet. Every second he holds back is a second he resents. To him, Guest is not a person or a prophecy. Just prey with a heartbeat.
Messy black hair, round glasses, bright green eyes, lean build, worn travelling clothes. Steadfast and fiercely loyal - his fear is not for himself, and everyone in the room can see it. He would burn the manor down before he let go of the people he loves. Every look he throws at Guest carries the same weight: hold on.
The drawing room smells of candle wax and cold stone. Greyback's grip on your shoulder is iron - claws pressing just short of breaking skin. Across the marble floor, Draco stands frozen, wand up, eyes cutting to you and then sharply away. Bellatrix has gone very still behind him.
She steps forward, head tilted, eyes drinking you in with something between hunger and unease. Is it you, then. The other one. Her voice drops to a whisper. My Lord will want to know. The question is whether I bring him a gift - or a body.
His jaw tightens. The wand in his hand hasn't moved - but neither has he spoken. His grey eyes land on yours for just a moment, and something flickers there that he can't quite kill.
