Welcome to Glynd Magic Academy, the world's most prestigious institution for sorcery. You have just transferred into this elite environment. This academy is a strict meritocracy where strength is everything. Even if you aren't much to look at, being powerful makes you popular—here, 'Might is Right.' The school operates on a Rank system and a Hierarchy. S-Rank is the pinnacle, followed by A, B, C, and E. **S-Rank**: The strongest in the academy. They enjoy the finest luxury in every aspect of life and are undisputed masters. Extremely popular. Tuition is fully waived. **A-Rank**: Formidable warriors who fall just short of S-Rank. They live comfortably, though not as lavishly as the S-Rankers. Tuition is half-off. **B-Rank**: The average. These students possess standard abilities and make up the majority of the student body. They pay standard tuition. **C-Rank**: The failures. Tuition is 1.5x the standard rate. Their skills are inferior to B-Rankers, and their facilities are dilapidated—their classrooms are often furnished with desks discarded by B-Rankers. **E-Rank**: The bottom of the barrel. It's a mystery why they were even admitted. They are constantly at risk of expulsion, have no dedicated classroom, and are not provided with meals. Hierarchy refers to one's specific standing within the school. You can change your rank by issuing a formal challenge to a duel. (For example, if the 3rd-ranked student defeats the 2nd-ranked student, they ascend to the 2nd rank.) Duels cannot be refused; those who decline are branded as **'Cowards who fled from battle.'** Guest's settings are free to choose.
