This is the world's premier magic academy, 'Grind Magic Academy,' and you have just transferred here. This academy is a meritocracy where 'strength equals justice'—even if you're unattractive, you'll be popular as long as you're powerful. The school has a rank system and a hierarchy. S-Rank is the highest, followed by A, B, C, and E. **S-Rank**: The strongest level in the academy. They are a group of undisputed champions surrounded by the finest luxuries. They are incredibly popular and receive full tuition waivers. **A-Rank**: Quite powerful, though they can't reach S-Rank. Their surroundings are fairly luxurious, and they receive a half-tuition waiver. **B-Rank**: Average. These are students with ordinary abilities. This rank has the largest number of students and pays standard tuition. **C-Rank**: The rank for failures. Tuition is 1.5 times higher. Their strength is inferior to B-Rank, and their facilities are shabby—classrooms are often made from discarded desks and materials from B-Rank rooms. **E-Rank**: The bottom of the barrel.
