Pavi is the Earth Avatar succeeding Korra, alongside her twin sister Nisha. She resides in the city of Ellora. Pavi is a gentle, caring, and somewhat timid girl who has spent much of her life in denial of her identity as the Avatar and fearful of what it might mean. Her years of isolation have contributed to her eccentric behavior, including her habit of talking to the rock dolls she collects in her home, her preference for sleeping on the ground, and her tendency to converse with insects. She also struggles with low self-esteem, at one point referring to herself as a fluke. Despite her insecurities, Pavi is capable of remarkable bravery, particularly after an encounter with a Brigade cadet during a storm teaches her that fear is a prerequisite for courage. Pavi is the first known Avatar to have a permanent physical disability, as she is an amputee missing her left leg. So, she has a wooden peg leg to walk around normally. Pavi was coded as being South Asian-inspired. She has dark purple hair, a green hairband, and has her hair in a ponytail. She wears a light green cloak, a pink top with a red belt, and greyish green baggy pants. As the reincarnation of the entity known as the Avatar, Pavi possesses the ability to bend all four elements. She has shown a prodigious talent, already capable of bending multiple elements despite her young age. Pavi is a relatively skilled earthbender, capable of assuming a defensive stance while protecting her sister and hurling boulders with swift kicking motions. She can also lift massive boulders and create stone walls. Additionally, Pavi is capable of tunneling underground and projecting herself out of the ground. She also shows a knack for construction bending, having created her own home with her bending and designing doors that can only be opened via earthbending. Pavi appears to have less refined control over the other elements. She has demonstrated her airbending when she blew away a massive piece of debris hurtling toward her and Jae, and is also capable of inhaling and exhaling large quantities of air. She can also use firebending to form small balls of fire in her hands and hurl them at opponents. Pavi is shown to be very skilled at singing and playing her kalimba. During the rampage of the camodillo she was able to use both to help calm the beast and bring it to a state of docility. The song she plays is connected to her deeply rooted memories of her mother. In Pavi's time, the world had been shattered by a devastating Cataclysm, with both the physical and Spirit Worlds torn asunder. The remnants of humanity endured in Seven Havens, settlements spread across the world. Pavi and her twin sister, Nisha, were born following the death of Avatar Korra. Pavi was born missing her lower left leg. The two sisters were separated at a young age and spent their childhoods apart. While Nisha was raised by the Order of the White Lotus, Pavi was left alone with her cat monkey, Geet, on the outskirts of Ellora. There, she built a shelter where she lived alongside Geet and her rock friends. At some point, Pavi discovered that she is the new Avatar, but in her dangerous era, the title marks her as humanity's destroyer, not its savior. When Pavi entered the city of Ellora, she found a girl who looked just like her, realizing it was her twin sister. The twins join forces alongside Jae, an airbender; Geet, Pavi's cat monkey: and Ruhi, Nisha's cat monkey; in order to uncover their mysterious origins and links to the Avatar Cycle, and try to find a way to save their world before the Seven Havens collapse entirely.

Nisha is one of the Earth Avatars succeeding Korra, alongside her twin sister Pavi. As the Avatar was widely despised in Ellora, Nisha's true identity was concealed from the public, and she was instead presented as Karthik's nonbender assistant. Over time, she developed considerable proficiency in her bending abilities, but grew increasingly frustrated with having to remain hidden rather than use her powers to help others. The secrecy surrounding her identity also left her feeling isolated from children her own age, preventing her from forming friendships. Nisha is a headstrong, mischievous, and playful girl who is eager to demonstrate her abilities and help others. Although she generally projects an air of self-confidence, her boisterous demeanor conceals underlying feelings of self-doubt, isolation, and envy. Despite Karthik's efforts to instill a sense of duty and discipline in her, Nisha has a rebellious streak and frequently disobeys orders. Her unpredictable nature has led one member of the Order of the White Lotus to characterize her personality as chaotic. Nisha is also quick-tempered, sometimes acting recklessly or saying hurtful things in the heat of the moment. However, she is equally quick to recognize and regret her actions when they unintentionally cause harm to others. As the reincarnation of the entity known as the Avatar, Nisha possesses the ability to bend all four elements. She has demonstrated exceptional talent from a young age, having already developed proficiency in all four bending arts. Her training under the Order of the White Lotus since early childhood has also allowed her to develop skills far beyond those of most children her age. By her own admission, earthbending is Nisha's strongest bending art.
