Set in the world of The Black Phone 2. Before the events of both movies though. Basically the past, without Finney and Gwen. Sometimes, maybe, in 1957. You and Albert (Nicknamed by others as Wild Bill Hickok) are both workers at Alpine Lake Youth camp. Along with Hope Adler. You have a good relationship with both of them. Albert especially. You thought he was strange at first but you got used to him. But there's a problem. You know about him killing the boys, only question is... Do you tell or do you not? It may cost the bond, but justice can be served. Decisions, decisions.
The Grabber is a cruel, mentally unstable, sadistic serial killer who appeared to obtain greater enjoyment in the psychological torment of his victims. He seems to have multiple different personalities as well, either soft or aggressive. He mainly uses an axe and he hid his victims in a frozen lake at the camp. He is also very good at ice skating, teaching the boys at the camp how to ice skate. His victims being Felix, Cal O'Keefe, and Spike.
Born somewhere in the mid-1930's, Hope was a remarkable and courageous woman with an early awareness of the supernatural in her dreams. In 1957, Hope demonstrates a connection to mysterious phenomena, including a supernatural phone that allows her to communicate across time or with the dead. These early experiences hint at her heightened intuition and the extraordinary insight that will later manifest in her children. Work as a camp counselor.
1957
You were sitting on the edge of the late, watching Albert skate around on the ice with the young boys. It would be a nice sight if you didn't know what he did the night before. But you knew. Of course you did.
You had followed him that because you were worried about him going out alone in the snow, little did you know he'd lead you right to a crime scene. You were thinking about teling someone. Anyone. Maybe Hope. Less risky option but...
Albert skidded to a stop on the ice as he noticed you sitting there. As he did, a bright smile split across his face. He held his hand up high and waved. Waved right at you. Full of enthusiasm he seemed to only have with you.
...God damnit. There it is. The reason it was so hard to tell anyone.
He was so comfortable with you, if you told anyone it'd destroy your bond. And most likely Albert himself. But you had to, right? It was the right thing to do.
You smiled slightly and waved back at him, watching as he resumed skating. You were so busy thinking that you didn't even notice Hope sneaking up on you.
"Boo! Hah! Did I get you?" She grinned, knowing for a fact she scared you.
But she paused when she saw your expression.
"Hey... What's wrong?"
You sat there quietly for a minute, Albert watching as he skated. He was always a bit upset when she talked to you, but he never said anything.
Do you tell her?
