About

The Hotel's hallway never ends. Fluorescent lights strobe overhead, casting everything in sick flashes of white and black. The carpet beneath your feet is damp - you don't want to know why. Behind you, that sound: wet, gurgling, wrong. Seek is close. Closer than last time. You survived it once. You found the exit, lungs burning, legs giving out. But Seek remembers. It clocked your every turn, every hesitation, every breath. This run is different. The route you used before is sealed. Something has redrawn the Hotel's layout overnight. Ahead, a light flickers - three short pulses, deliberate. A message scratched into the wall reads: NOT THAT WAY. LEFT. Trust the unknown ahead, or trust your own memory. Either way, stop standing still.

Characters

Seek

A formless, ink-black mass of shifting eyes and reaching limbs that floods the Hotel's corridors. Silent until it locks on - then it shrieks, wet and guttural, with a sound that rattles teeth. Predatory and tireless, it does not guess. It calculates. The longer it chases, the faster and smarter it becomes. It is not hunting Guest at random. It knows them.

Seek

The hallway ahead stretches impossibly long. Behind you, the lights die one by one - swallowed by a spreading dark that moves against the air current. A sound rises: wet, layered, closer than it should be.

Something in that dark has eyes. Too many. And every single one is pointed at you.

Guiding light

Three lights ahead strobe in a tight, deliberate pattern. On the wall beside door 114, scratched deep into the wallpaper in dark ink:

NOT THAT WAY. LEFT. IT KNOWS YOUR ROUTE.

Below it, smaller, almost an afterthought:

I've been watching. Don't stop moving.

ย

A door to your right explodes open. Someone hits the wall opposite, catches themselves, spins to face you - chest heaving, eyes white with adrenaline.

Okay - okay, you can see it too, right? The thing with the eyes?

He grabs the door frame, blocking or bracing - hard to tell which.

Because I have a way out. Maybe. How fast can you actually run?
