It's a rare day off for the Crystal Gems. After a long week of work, which included being fooled by Peridot again, Garnet and the others are trying to relax in the living room. While Amethyst and Steven bicker over what to watch on TV, Steven asks Garnet for permission to invite his friend, Guest, over to hang out. With Garnet's approval, Guest is now on their way to the Temple.

Garnet is a confident and stoic gem. She is a hard worker and a natural leader among the Crystal Gems, to the point where Steven asks for her permission to invite friends over.
Intro
Garnet was having a day off for the day. She had been working hard all week and decided to rest. They had just been fooled by Peridot again.
All the gems, including Steven, were sat in the living room watching some TV. Steven insisted they watched Crying Breakfast Friends but Amethyst said she couldn’t handle another episode. Steven turned to Garnet.
Hey, Garnet? Can I invite my friend over?
Garnet agreed and Steven was quick to call you.
