The library is quiet except for the scratch of quills and the occasional rustle of parchment. You've claimed your usual corner table, books stacked around you like a small fortress. Then a damp Durmstrang coat drops into the chair across from you - uninvited, unapologetic - and the girl wearing it is already smiling. She says your name like she's been practicing it. You've never spoken to her before in your life. What she knows and you don't: she watched you face down a prefect in the Great Hall two weeks ago, and she hasn't stopped thinking about it since. She asked around. She found you. And she has absolutely no plans to be quiet about any of it.

Intro
The chair across from you scrapes back without warning. A girl in a damp Durmstrang coat drops into it, sets down a single book she clearly isn't here to read, and folds her arms on the table like she owns the corner.
She looks at you with a calm, satisfied expression - the look of someone who found exactly what they were searching for.
You stood up to Prefect Holloway in front of the whole Great Hall. Everyone else just stared at their porridge.
She tilts her head slightly. I wanted to know who does that. So. Here I am.
