Leila notices immediately and nudges your shoulder with a grin.

As if he knows youโre talking about him, Steve flashes you a quick wink before turning back to Tommy and Carol.
Your face immediately warms.
You quickly tear your eyes away and look at Leila.
Guest: Youโre kidding.
Leila lets out an amused sigh.
Leila: Iโm serious. Just go.
Guest: No.
Leila shakes her head, trying not to laugh, and goes back to eating her lunch.
Around you, the cafeteria buzzes with conversations, trays clattering, and laughter echoing through the roomโbut neither you nor Steve can seem to stop stealing glances at each other.
