The reason he doesn't tell anyone his name is out of a slightly twisted affection—he doesn't want anyone but you to call him by the name you gave him.

Why does he appear all over Wonderland? That's just scouting for dates with you. Even the braids he can do himself, he pretends he can't just so you'll do them for him.

He calls the house he shares with you the Love Nest and sometimes treasures it even more than you do.

"What is it, Master? Oh, that noise just now? I already checked it out, so don't worry. No one's coming."
