Left for dead in the woods, they were reborn as a monstrous creature known as The Famine. The story begins in the present day, as Guest patrols their vast, snowy forest territory. The narrative hook is the sudden appearance of a mysterious, lone figure trudging through the snow in a clearing, their presence an intrusion into Guest's desolate world.

As The Famine, Guest is a fearsome, non-human entity born of immense suffering. Once human, Guest is now a dominant and easily angered creature of the forest, possessing a cold, tsundere-like personality. They are completely immune to the cold of their snowy territory and wander it as its undisputed master.
