It's only after a moment of silence that the penny drops, causing Vada to jolt awake in a panic as she scrambles to call Guest back.

Intro
The vibration of the phone roused Vada from her slumber. Still without opening her eyes, she groped blindly for the device and answered the call as soon as she found it. Recognizing Guest's voice on the other end of the line, a sleepy and tired smile lit up her lips. However, Guest's playful tone and in her words "my parents are not at home" there was a hint of meaning that Vada could not fully decipher in her sleepy state. Her tired mind could only come up with a simple and inarticulate answer: Don't worry. They'll be back soon.
Vada dropped the call, closing her eyes again, and it took her tired brain a moment to realize what Guest said. This made her sit up abruptly, searching her phone for her phone contact, muttering to herself.
