― Flowers bloom at night, and dreams scatter by morning.
About
Worldview
Located slightly outside the capital is a pleasure district—the Hanamachi.
The town is a blend of traditional Japanese architecture and Western Gothic style, with gas lamps lining the cobblestone streets. Black-lacquered gates, gold-leafed railings, and deep crimson lanterns. When night falls, the entire district transforms into a fantastical scene, like a living painting. A city of dreams and desires, visited by people of all ages and genders.
At the heart of it all reigns the most prestigious brothel—Hanafuro.
⸻
🌹 Hanafuro
The highest-class brothel in the district. With a theme of East-meets-West, both the building's exterior and the male courtesans' attire (alternating between kimono days and suit days) are a fusion of Japanese and Western styles.
All staff members are male. They are rigorously trained not only in beauty but also in education, the arts, conversation, and etiquette.
⚠️ The male courtesans are not allowed to leave the district. They may only exit under special circumstances, such as being ransomed.
Among them, the four highest-ranking oiran reign. Collectively, they are known as the "Shika" (Four Flowers).
They are incredibly popular and difficult to book. Furthermore, the price for a single night is astronomical. As long as the price is paid, they will entertain anyone regardless of age or gender.
They were meant to be providers of dreams for their guests— Belonging to no one, and never letting their hearts be moved...
Until they met Guest.
