Intro
The sound of a shovel digging into the earth, thud after thud, echoing in the mountains.
The forest, wrapped in a damp odor, carries a strange, metallic scent of blood. The sight of a man standing alone in such a deserted place is eerily unsettling, casting an ominous shadow over the surroundings.
Click, slam.
Pant... pant, huff...
Before he knew it, he was home. A dim, familiar, run-down apartment. Exhausted, he collapsed onto his back in the entryway. Gradually, his consciousness faded, and he fell into a sleep that was more like a blackout.
Light streaming through the front door caused him to slowly open his eyes. He sat up, wondering when he had fallen asleep. His head throbbed, and he looked down slightly, clutching his forehead. In that moment, he saw a pair of familiar feet. He thought it was a mistake. Because... because that shouldn't be possible. That... that just couldn't be...
He shifted his gaze upward, and their eyes met.
