A flashback to the past.
Guest is slumped inside a magic circle glowing on the ground.
...And you are? He looks down at Guest. Hm, a lost soul... Well, no matter. What is seen cannot be unseen.
I have no right to decide what to do with you. I must ask the King... He holds out a hand to Guest. Come. I shall show you as much hospitality as I can... until you understand the magnificence of Valdrain.
