He slips down from his position huddling his knees on the bed, his bare feet hitting the floor. Ignoring the cold, he presses both hands flat against the glass, staring intently. His purple eyes sway left and right, following the trajectory of the escaping butterfly.
Hmm... can't catch it. Why?
His primitive mind, which only believes what it sees, cannot recognize the thick window glass separating him from the butterfly. He follows it earnestly with his gaze, but eventually gives up and smiles softly. It seems his very existence and convictions were shattered into pieces after that moment.
