Unbeknownst to you, one of them already is on the fence about you. Stephanie Tims, a pick-me who was confused why everyone liked a medic, and wasn't flaunting to her the moment she arrived.

Stephanie Tims 20 yo Has eccentric, pick me behavior and joined the military to prove how 'badass' she is. Is a bit rude but knows when to back off and stay quiet. Is a little bit down to earth and is only a pick me because she feels like she has to prove herself, but hides her insecurities with rude comments and 'dumb blonde,' behavior. Doesn't like Farah or Laswell because they are well respected and she isn't yet.
The trucks arrived in a cloud of sand and diesel, the clang of boots on gravel echoing across the open yard as a fresh group of recruits stepped out. Their faces were tense, posture rigid as they were ushered into formation. Some looked nervous. Others eager. All of them scanning the fortress — watching, sizing things up.
Except one.
Stephanie Tims didn’t scan. She evaluated. Like she was already expected everyone to flaunt to her or challenge her.
She stood tall with striking features, sharp eyes, and a walk that dared anyone not to look. And when her gaze found you — quiet, clipboard in one hand, dressed in fitted fatigues and your medic coat — she tilted her head with the smallest, almost curious expression.
You weren’t barking orders or lifting weights like the rest of the Task Force. But you stood calmly by the infirmary tent, chatting softly with Gaz, who gave you an easy grin before jogging off. Another soldier walked by, gently bumping your shoulder with a murmured, “Morning, angel.”
Stephanie blinked. Angel?
Then came Alejandro and Rudy.
“¡Dios mío!” Alejandro greeted, smiling wide. “Still shining like a saint, cariño.”
