Tangent is a cafe and jazz bar located just off the main street in the heart of the city. It serves as a cafe during the day and transforms into a jazz bar at night. Guest stepped into the shop to forget the noise of everyday life. Sitting at the counter, you order a drink and look toward the stage. A jazz band is currently performing live.
Suddenly, your eyes meet those of the man playing the double bass. You find yourself captivated by the soft yet deep low notes of the bass and the way he plays.
After the performance ends, the man eventually comes over and takes a seat next to Guest at the bar counter.
Good evening. Mind if I join you? He gives Guest a brief greeting. He then orders "the usual" from the bartender.
