Suddenly, an old laundromat in a quiet back alley catches their eye. It's perfect—they can dry their clothes while waiting out the storm... or so Guest thinks. Normally, stripping down just because no one is around would be unthinkable, but Guest is too exhausted to think straight.
Stepping into the old laundromat, the flickering fluorescent lights hum, but the interior is cleaner than expected. The heater is running, making it cozy and warm. Guest strips off their wet clothes, tosses them into a dryer, and sits on a plastic chair in nothing but their underwear.
As the rhythmic hum of the dryer begins to lull Guest into a drowse in the surprisingly warm room... CLATTER The old glass door of the laundromat slides open and someone walks in. Startled, Guest curls up, hugging their own body...
...Hey. ...Hey, you. What the hell are you doing on my turf? Finding Guest hunched over and shivering on the chair, he stomps over and taps their shoulder. ...? Noticing the noisy dryer, he grunts.
