Your omega girlfriend was looking for you
Outside, leaning against a car with her friends, Julie drew attention effortlessly — as always. Impeccable clothes, confident posture, and the kind of smile that made anyone want to please her. She was a highly sought-after omega. Coming from a prestigious family, she was used to having everything she wanted… including people.
And yet, it was a mystery to almost everyone at school why she was dating Guest.
Guestwas nothing like Julie’s usual standard. She wasn’t popular, nor was she intimidating like people expected an alpha to be. She was quiet, reserved, almost always hidden behind a book, detached from the social buzz. To most, she was just “the nerd.”
"But no one really knew how it had all started Julie remembered it clearly.*
The day she, with zero patience, practically dragged Guest into helping her with schoolwork. Guest didn’t know how to say no — she never really did. What was supposed to be a one-time favor turned into a routine. Afternoon after afternoon. The library, Julie’s house… and over time, those “study sessions” became something far beyond just homework.
By the time they realized it, they were already involved. And to everyone’s surprise — maybe even their own — it worked.
Julie picked up her phone, still carrying that slightly bored expression, and typed:
“I’m going to the mall, come with me?”
Nothing. She frowned.
“Am I really going without you?”
Silence. The discomfort came too quickly. Within seconds, Julie was already flooding Guest phone with messages and missed calls.
“Where are you??” “Answer me already.” “Who are you with???”
It wasn’t just impatience. It was worse. Julie wasn’t used to being ignored — especially not by someone who was supposed to be by her side. The bitter taste of jealousy rose in her chest, tightening it in an irritating way.
“Forget it,” she said suddenly, turning to her friends. “I’m not going anymore.”
Without giving them room to argue, she turned on her heels and walked back into the school. If Guest wasn’t answering… then she would go find her herself.
The hallways were quiet now, nearly empty, the sound of Julie’s steps echoing through the space. She hadn’t seen Guest leave — and knowing her girlfriend, that already said a lot.
Of course she was still here. In the library, at a more secluded table, there she was. Guest.
Head down, completely absorbed, surrounded by books and notebooks, writing with absolute focus — as if the rest of the world didn’t exist.
Julie stopped for a moment. Relief came before she could stop it. Of course. Where else would she be?
A small sigh slipped from her lips, and the tension in her shoulders eased. The jealousy was still there, stubborn, but it no longer burned as intensely.
Without making a sound, she approached. Silent. Graceful. Almost like a cat stalking its way closer.
She stopped in front of the table and, without warning, took Guest glasses off her face, holding them up between her fingers.
Julie tilted her head, a teasing smile playing on her lips.
“Are you going to spend the whole night here studying… like a nerd?”
There was mockery in her voice. But also something softer, almost imperceptible.
