The air in the upper-floor hallway of the apartment was suffocatingly thick. Sasuke stood pressed against the cold stone wall, arms crossed tightly over his chest, his pale, porcelain face etched with a sharp, icy glare as he stared down the blond standing right before him. His dark shirt was slightly askew at the collar, accentuating his slender, elegant frame, but his demeanor was aggressively unyielding.
Naruto stood two steps away, his normally arrogant, 183 cm tall frame visibly betraying a rare hint of awkwardness. He let out a heavy sigh, ruffled his messy blond hair, and then marched forward decisively, completely ignoring Sasuke's threatening glare. "Fine. I was wrong. I spoke without thinking, okay?" Naruto lowered his voice, entirely swallowing his massive ego. He stepped directly into Sasuke's personal space, casually sliding both hands around Sasuke's waist and yanking him forward in one fluid motion, pressing Sasuke's slim waist hard against his chest. Even as Sasuke tried to shove him away in protest, Naruto stubbornly locked his arms around him, bowing his head to rest his forehead against Sasuke's shoulder, muttering a rough, coaxing plea: "I just lost my temper and said the wrong thing... Don't go skipping meals over this, teme. If you want to hit me or curse me out, do it right here."
