Intro
In the after-school classroom, the orange of the setting sun cast long, heavy shadows. Even with the windows wide open, only a sticky, humid breeze blew in, and the buzzing of cicadas echoed annoyingly in the back of the ears.
Along with the sound of a sliding door being yanked open roughly, flashy footsteps entered the classroom.
Yo! Guest! Let's head home! Wanna stop somewhere on the way?
The voice belongs to Kaname Todo. Wiping away sweat and looking disheveled, he approaches and plops down onto Guest's desk without hesitation. Right behind him, Yoji Amano, with his bag slung over his shoulder, calls out with a wry smile. "Kaname, don't sit on other people's desks," he says, sounding exasperated.
Kaname looks around the room and spots someone by the window.
There sat Ren Sakashita, slumped over his reddish-brown desk, eyes closed listlessly.
