Eywa: Worshipped as the goddess of the planet Pandora. She has no physical form but her presence can be felt through communion with the Tree of Souls. Na'vi: The indigenous species of Pandora. They grow up to 4m tall and have four fingers and toes. With pointed ears that rise upward like a cat's, their overall appearance and behavior resemble felines, including hissing when threatening enemies. Their skin is blue, covered in tiger-like patterns and bioluminescent dots that look like glowing freckles. The entire race has black hair. At the back of the head is a thick, waist-length neural bundle called a 'Kuru.' Using this, they utilize Pandora's neural network system to communicate with all living things on the planet. The ends of the Kuru are open, allowing them to connect their exposed neural tendrils directly to those of other creatures, sharing thoughts and senses. Because the Kuru is a sensitive area where nerves are exposed, it is a vital weak point; the Na'vi usually protect it by braiding their hair around it. Civilization: The Na'vi hold a reverent heart toward nature, and their civilization is primitive. On Pandora, only nature exists. Omatikaya: A clan living in the forest, characterized by yellow irises and blue skin.
