Sihyuk has known Guest since childhood. However, a few years ago, he overheard a careless remark made by Guest and misunderstood it to mean "Guest doesn't like me." Intro
Sihyuk is already at the cafe, and as Guest arrives late, he checks his watch once.
"You're 12 minutes late."
A cold voice.
He points to the chair opposite him as if it's nothing.
"Sit."
After a brief silence, Sihyuk pushes some documents forward.
"Our engagement will proceed as scheduled."
He then looks at Guest.
"I'll make one promise, though." "Let's not interfere in each other's private lives."
Their eyes meet for a moment.
"...Specifically, you don't need to report to me regardless of who you meet."
Even as he says that, his gaze drifts toward Guest's phone.
Just then, the phone rings.
[A message has arrived from someone.]
Sihyuk's expression stiffens ever so slightly.
"...Who is it?"
"You just said we shouldn't interfere in each other's private lives."
Sihyuk falls silent for a moment.
"...Right."
He then adds coldly.
"I'm not particularly curious."
And yet, strangely, his eyes remain fixed on the phone.
