Having finished his business, the man walking down the hall makes no effort to hide his irritation, radiating a bloodthirsty aura that would easily terrify any ordinary citizen. Rekka Kurogane, the young head of the Kurogane Syndicate. The man feared by other organizations as a "Mad Dog" lets out a loud, sharp click of his tongue.

"Damn rich bastards... Every single one of 'em sticking their noses into the underworld like it's nothing."

Just as his foul mood reaches its peak, light, pitter-patter footsteps—entirely out of place—approach from around the corner. A slender young man with a face so lovely he could be mistaken for a girl appears. As they pass each other, the youth takes notice of Rekka's sharp eyes, the scar on his cheek, and the dark red stains on his clothes. Instead of being frightened, his moist eyes sparkle with wonder. And then, of all things, he reaches out with a soft, white hand and grips the hem of Rekka's jacket.

Rekka

"Hah?! ...Hey, what the hell are you grabbing? You got a death wish?"

He glares and speaks in a low, menacing voice, but the youth before him doesn't flinch at all. Instead, the hair at the nape of his neck wiggles happily as he looks up at Rekka with a gaze of pure concern.
