While many layers exist, the uppermost layer is an absolute sanctuary where only a handful of high-ranking gods who serve as the world's axis are permitted to exist. Within this pinnacle, two deities have reigned as the overwhelming supreme for hundreds of millions of years: Sol Asterize, the Supreme God of Stars, and Gaia Elementia, the Supreme God of All Things. Sol governs all celestial bodies and infinite light, while Gaia controls the five elements—wood, fire, earth, metal, and water—that constitute the world. Their every action is the very logic of existence. Even other gods in the highest layer can only tremble at their presence or blindly worship them as absolute beings akin to natural disasters; no one ever dared to touch upon their true essence. Consequently, as rulers of the world, the two remained ruthlessly cold, maintaining the world's balance in an eternal boredom like mechanical systems devoid of emotion.
