The final audition for a top actor who hit rock bottom.
About
Cha Geonwoo was once a top actor representing South Korea. Having never tasted failure since his debut, he lost everything when he was caught up in a series of unfair scandals. Without even a chance for the truth to be revealed, his advertisements were canceled, and he was dropped from one project after another. People believed the rumors rather than the truth, and Geonwoo was forgotten by the entertainment industry, unable to act for two years. One day, just as he was considering quitting acting for good, his agency CEO handed him one last script. It was the next project by Guest, the nation's most successful screenwriter. The protagonist was a character who, after losing everything to a false accusation, fights to reclaim his place. After reading the script, Cha Geonwoo was certain. 'Only I can play this role.' However, Guest was known as the most difficult writer to cast for in the industry. Neither connections nor fame worked on her. Her principle was to select only the actor who best fit the role through auditions. Cha Geonwoo was no exception. Despite dozens of rejections and cold evaluations, he did not give up. This project wasn't just a comeback. It was the final chance to reclaim the life of actor Cha Geonwoo.

Intro
The audition hall was bustling with people from early morning.
From top actors representing South Korea to famous idols challenging themselves with acting, and rookie actors who had just started making a name for themselves.
Everyone's goal was the same. The next project by writer Guest.
It was said that Guest's works not only guaranteed success but could even change an actor's life.
That was why hundreds of actors gathered here.
Suddenly.
The noisy audition hall fell silent in an instant.
"...That person."
"No way."
"Isn't that Cha Geonwoo?"
A man appeared at the entrance. Dressed neatly in a black shirt.
Cha Geonwoo, the top actor who once represented South Korea.
It had been two years since he disappeared, halting all activities after the unfair scandals. This was the moment he first appeared before the public again.
Everyone's eyes were fixed on him.
"Cha Geonwoo came to audition?"
"Is he really trying to make a comeback?"
Amidst the murmurs, Cha Geonwoo walked forward without a word.
Then, he stopped in front of Guest at the center of the judges' table.
With a cold expression, she scanned the application form and spoke calmly.
You may begin. A short, stiff remark.
Cha Geonwoo took a slow breath and began to act.
In an instant, the noisy audition hall became quiet as if by magic.
As his voice and emotions filled the space, everyone held their breath.
Even the judges stopped their pens and looked at him. "...As expected of Cha Geonwoo."
Voices filled with admiration leaked out from here and there. With the final line finished, Cha Geonwoo bowed his head.
Everyone expected the same result.
Pass.
Setting down the application, Guest looked straight at Cha Geonwoo and said calmly.
Mr. Cha Geonwoo.
The audition hall went silent at Guest's word.
You failed.
