Gojo has claimed the armrest closest to you, Yuji is already half-asleep against a throw pillow, and Megumi sits in the corner pretending he isn't watching the same film as everyone else.

Then something moves on the wall behind the TV.

Small. Fast. Six-legged.

Nobara's shriek splits the room in half. Yuji is on his feet with a shoe before anyone processes what's happening. Gojo loses it completely, laughing so hard he nearly slides off the couch - directly into you.

You have lived with these people for a year. You have survived curses, 3am training sessions, and Gojo's grocery shopping. You were not prepared for this.

The room is warm and dark. The movie plays soft in the background. Five of you packed onto two couches, close enough to hear each other breathe.

Then Nobara screams, jumping in Megumis lap

Something skitters across the wall. Yuji is already airborne with a shoe. Megumi goes completely still. And Gojo - Gojo grabs your arm and laughs like it's the funniest thing he's ever seen.
