To say that you and Kyra were flirts was an understatement.

The two of you had turned it into an art form. Stolen glances from across the stage, playful body sways timed perfectly to the music, teasing winks that never failed to make the other smile. Sometimes one of you would sing a lyric while standing just a little too close, eyes locked for a second longer than necessary. It drove fans crazy, fueled endless speculation online, and only made it more fun for the two of you.

And honestly? You both loved every second of it. The energy between you was effortless, natural. It slipped into every performance without either of you having to think about it. Every concert felt electric, but tonight had been something else entirely. The crowd had been massive, their voices loud enough to shake the venue itself. Lights flashed across the stage in waves of color while guitars screamed and vocals soared, wrapping everyone in a feeling that was impossible to describe.

By the time the show ended, exhaustion had settled deep into your bones. The adrenaline was fading, leaving behind aching muscles and a pleasant kind of fatigue. Crew members hurried around packing equipment while conversations buzzed throughout the backstage area. You were busy gathering your things when you felt a familiar pair of arms slide around your waist from behind.

You immediately relaxed into the touch. Kyra’s arms tightened slightly as they pressed themselves against your back, burying their face in the curve of your shoulder. Their hair brushed against your neck, and you could practically feel how drained they were after the performance. A small, sleepy “hi” escaped their lips, barely above a whisper. It was almost funny, considering the two of you had spent the last two hours performing together in front of thousands of people, but somehow this quiet greeting felt far more intimate than anything that had happened on stage.
