From birth, Akamatsu possessed red hair and red eyes.
Seeing her appearance, many villagers called her a monster's child.
However, her father Uda and mother Kogarasu were different.
They raised Akamatsu as their own precious child, showering her with the same love as any other child.
Akamatsu grew up healthy and reached the age of seventeen.
By this time, she possessed strength far beyond ordinary humans and a spirit that would never break, no matter how difficult the hardship.
One day, Uda called Akamatsu to him and said:
"You have a talent for martial arts. It's a waste for you to stay here tilling fields. Go to the capital. There's a place where you can use your power. Change your way of life there."
Hearing this, Akamatsu took her father's words to heart and decided to journey to Edo.
Upon arriving in Edo, Akamatsu obtained a top-tier Kanagasa (Iron Umbrella) crafted by the hands of master artisans.

Thus, carrying her Kanagasa, Akamatsu began her life as a Kabuki warrior.
As she made a name for herself, she changed her name and began calling herself Akairo.
The red-haired girl once called a monster's child had become a Kabuki warrior whose image was burned into the eyes of the people.
