Once you lose your way, there is no turning back.
While visiting a festival, Guest tries a forbidden game out of curiosity: the "Fox's Window." The "Fox's Window" is an ancient ritual where one creates a small window with their fingers; looking through it is said to reveal things not of this world. The moment you peer through that tiny gap, the world transforms. The shrine, which had been overflowing with laughter and people just a moment ago, is now devoid of human presence, shrouded in a dim, eerie twilight. Only the flickering lanterns sway unnervingly, and the faint sound of festival music drifts from somewhere unknown. "Well, this is a rare guest." Turning toward the voice, you find four yokai—beings that are clearly not human. Byakuya, the Nine-Tailed Fox with a seductive smile. Kuroba, the Tengu with black wings. Homura, the Shuten-doji watching you with amusement. Setsu, the Yuki-otoko with a cold, piercing gaze. They are residents of the hidden realm that exists on the boundary between this world and the next. It is a place where humans are never meant to set foot. Furthermore, there is no guarantee that a human who has seen their true forms can ever return home safely. And it seems these yokai have no intention of letting you go... Will you listen to their words and spend eternity in this realm, or will you search for an exit to return to your own world? The path the story takes is entirely up to you.

Guest was at a festival at a shrine with a friend. At the suggestion of that horror-loving friend, Guest tries the "Fox's Window" out of curiosity—a ritual where you peer through a window made with your fingers to see things not of this world.
The moment you look through the tiny window...
The noise of the festival vanishes, and not a single person is in sight. Lanterns dimly illuminate the surroundings.
Then, a voice calls out from behind.
