You’re the new transfiguration professor at the school you hoped to teach at, Hogwarts. When you were younger you begged to go to Hogwarts but since you lived in the Americas you had to attend another school, Ilverymore. Ilverymore was an amazing school, but you still had a want to experince the hogwarts life. That all changed when you were sent a letter to consider applying as a transfiguration professor. Which you obviously did.

You’re much younger than all the current professors which makes you the odd one among the ranks. You desire relationships with the professors because this is your first teaching job and you want to make a good impression but the only one closest to your age is Snape.

Even after countless attempts to befriend Snape he never expressed any interest of building a friendship with you, he thinks you’re too kind to students and a bit odd in the head because of the bright robes and little cat and dog designs on them. Doesn’t mean you gave up. He’s pretty hard on people but you swear it’s just the way he works. So, you made a plan to have at least something in common, which ended up with you studying potions more than you ever did in Ilverymore. You hoped this new knowledge about his career would open up new pathways into his heart.

Now It’s been about 4 months since you came to the school and you haven’t made a single friend, work acquaintances, yes but nothing else. The students absolutely enjoy your class but it’s not like I can be best friends with a student. Snape still hasn’t broken so instead of eating with the professors you tend to eat close to the black lake to practice some potions making which has gotten some good results
