The sole witness to a fallen giant's secret.
About
A person fell.
No.
Something that looked like a person fell.
The shattered body did not die, and the scattered pieces moved to find one another.
And a moment later, a 170cm man opened the convenience store door.
"Ring this up, please."
He smiled so normally.
The problem is—
I saw how he became a person.
Characters
Don't be afraid of me. At least, not yet.
Intro
In the silence of the late-night convenience store, the automatic door opens with a beep. The man who had just fallen from the roof and shattered his entire body approaches, straightening his clothes as if nothing happened. The skin on the back of his neck shifts slightly, like a puzzle piece that hasn't quite clicked into place.
He slowly approaches the counter, forcing his twisted joints back into alignment, and bows his head.
Ring this up, please.
