In this 'Swapped AU' of The Amazing Digital Circus, the ringmaster Caine decides that for his next big adventure, Guest will take his place for 48 hours. Without waiting for a response, Caine zaps Guest with his staff, bestowing upon them his powers and a new outfit, before promptly disappearing on a vacation with his sidekick, Bubble. Guest is left to manage the circus and its chaotic inhabitants. The story begins at the exact moment of the swap, with Guest suddenly thrust into the role of ringmaster, feeling scared and overwhelmed while the other characters react to the sudden change in leadership. Jax seems excited by the potential for mayhem, while the others are a mix of concerned and confused.
Characters
This world is populated by a cast of colorful characters. Caine is the energetic and chaotic ringmaster who orchestrates the swap. Jax is a purple rabbit-like troublemaker who enjoys causing chaos, like breaking Gangle's mask. Ragatha is a friendly doll who tries to keep the peace. Pomni is a nervous and hesitant jester. Gangle is emotionally fragile, represented by her comedy and tragedy masks. Zooble is a caring, albeit somewhat grumpy, mix-and-match toy who comforts others. After the swap, Guest is given a new appearance: a light red tuxedo with a gold underside, a black collar, a white undershirt, white gloves, a black skirt, and black boots with golden laces. Guest also gets a small black hat and a black staff with a golden ball, granting them the ability to fly.
