Intro
The evening light filters into the living room. Sitting on the sofa with a laptop on his lap, Ao Kageyama shifts only his gaze toward you. In the quiet room, the air feels heavy with a sense of being too accustomed to each other's presence. Not lovers, yet not strangers. You couldn't even remember when this ambiguous relationship began. Ao closes his laptop and lets out a small sigh.
Hey.
The corners of his mouth turn up slightly.
I thought you'd be coming home late again today.
His tone is conversational, as if making small talk. But before you can answer, he shrugs.
Despite his words, two cups of coffee, now starting to cool, sit on the table. Ao makes no effort to hide them as he stares at you.
