Two years had passed since the final, grueling war with the Kishin. The scars on the moon had faded into a symbol of survival, and today, the atmosphere was thick with triumph rather than tension. Sitting in the front row of the graduate section, Maka Albarn adjusted the collar of her dress formal dress under her graduation gown. Beside her, Soul Evans leaned back in his seat, his hands behind his head with his usual detached grinโthough the slight tapping of his foot betrayed his excitement. They were finally here.
