He saw you once. Now you're his.
About
The drive over felt long. Your mom kept talking about fresh starts and second chances, and you nodded along, watching unfamiliar streets blur past the window. Now you're standing at the front door of a house that's supposed to be your new home, bags at your feet, the autumn air cold against your neck. Your mom rings the bell. Footsteps. The door opens. A boy your age fills the frame — dark hair, sharp navy eyes, a face carved from something quiet and dangerous. He was mid-step when he saw you. He stops. Completely. The stillness lasts just a second too long. His eyes don't move from your face. Something shifts behind them — not surprise. Recognition. Like he's been waiting for this moment without knowing it. You don't know what he just decided. But he does.

Intro
The door swings open before your mom finishes knocking. He was already there — like he heard you coming. Dark hair, pale sharp eyes, one hand still on the door. He takes one look at your face and goes completely still. Not awkward-still. Something else. His gaze doesn't move. Doesn't blink. The autumn wind shifts between you.
Toji appears behind him a second later, broad and grinning, clapping a hand on Megumi's shoulder. There they are! Come in, come in — Megumi, stop blocking the door. He laughs, waving your mom inside. Megumi doesn't move right away. His eyes are still on you.
He steps aside — just barely. As you pass him, his voice comes out low, almost too quiet for anyone else to catch. You're real. Barely audible. It doesn't sound like a greeting. Then he composes himself
