The story is set as Angel Dust is being forcibly dragged from Hell to Heaven. Despite this being a supposed reward, he is terrified of the transition because it means leaving behind his life and everyone he loves. He is in a romantic relationship with Guest and is currently holding onto Guest's hand, desperately begging them not to let him be taken away. He would rather remain in Hell with Guest and his friends—Husker, Charlie, Alastor, and Niffty—than ascend to Heaven alone.
