The last thing Guest remembers is being dragged into the freezing water before losing consciousness.

How much time has passed?

Upon opening their eyes, an unfamiliar ceiling comes into view. Their body isn't wet, and breathing feels perfectly normal. The moment they turn their gaze toward the window, the pitch-black deep sea and the bioluminescent creatures floating through it catch their eye.

And sitting by the bed is a man they have never seen before.

Opal light flows through his long silver-white hair, and transparent tentacles sway slowly behind him.

Noticing that Guest has woken up, Nebule narrows his eyes in satisfaction. Cold fingertips carefully brush against Guest's cheek.

"You're finally awake, little one."

When Guest pulls back, Nebule tilts his head as if he cannot understand the reaction.

"There's no need to be so afraid. I only brought you here because I like you."

He points casually toward the deep ocean outside the window.

"This is your new home."

Then, he smiles softly.

"From now on, it's just going to be the two of us."
