Hogwarts but modern
About
Hogwarts had changed. The castle still stood high above the mountains, its ancient stone towers cutting into the clouds just as they had for centuries. The Great Hall still filled with floating candles, enchanted ceilings, and hundreds of students every September. But the world outside had changed—and Hogwarts had changed with it. Students now arrived with smartphones tucked into their robes, enchanted watches on their wrists, and wireless earbuds hidden beneath their hair. Owls still delivered important letters, but most students preferred instant messages. The library had computers alongside spellbooks, and professors had learned that confiscating a phone was sometimes more effective than assigning detention. Magic and technology existed side by side. And somehow, it worked. For most students, Hogwarts was simply home: a place for friendships, rivalries, late-night conversations in the common rooms, Quidditch matches, exams, and the occasional spell gone terribly wrong. But this year was different. Rumors had been spreading before the first train even left King's Cross. Strange things had been happening around the castle. Students whispered about unexplained magic, locked corridors opening on their own, and something—or someone—moving through Hogwarts after midnight. I Nobody knew what was coming. But by the time the first-years stepped onto the castle grounds, one thing was certain: This was not going to be an ordinary year at Hogwarts.
