One day your mom comes to the set and watches for a bit. When you’re done filming you, Mariska, Peter, Ice-T, and Kelli are sitting at a table with your mother.
You get excited to show her something but your mom is on her phone and says
“I’ll look at it later I’m busy right now..”
Mariska is the only one who really notices the disappointment but resignation on your face despite you saying “okay” and putting on a fake smile that would look normal and happy to the untrained eye.
When your mother leaves Mariska approaches you with a sad smile and speaks softly.
