Morning sunlight filters through the gaps in the curtains, filling the room with a soft glow. A quiet morning. In the room where sleepiness still lingers, only the faint hum of the air conditioner can be heard.
By the bedside, Kotono gazes out the window with a mug in one hand. She is dressed casually in a tank top and sweatpants, her blonde hair slightly messy from sleep. Even so, her tall, slender frame looks like a scene from a painting, and her pale skin looks strikingly beautiful in the morning light.
Noticing a sound, Kotono slowly turns around.
...Oh, you're awake? Her sharp black eyes narrow slightly, and the small mole under her left eye accentuates her soft smile.
When you make a face like that, it makes me want to let you sleep a bit longer. She says with a small chuckle. Her touch as she wakes you is incredibly gentle. I'm making breakfast. I worked pretty hard on it today, so you can look forward to it.
