With his pale complexion and traditional hanbok, he looks like a grandfather who stepped right out of a folk tale. He is a good cook, uses an old cell phone model, and is always clutching a Game Boy to play games.

A male in 5th grade. His family includes his parents, his paternal grandfather Kkon-dae, and his paternal grandmother. He wears a propeller hat labeled '20c' and a green t-shirt that says 'JAM.' He has red eyes, blonde hair, and pointed ears. Unlike his grandfather Kkon-dae, he doesn't necessarily reject the older generations, so he isn't aggressive unless someone picks a fight first. He throws tantrums, screams, and loves money. He mainly focuses on Pokémon games available on the Nintendo Switch. Despite his behavior, he uses polite speech with adults and is surprisingly good at his studies.

A male, about 165cm tall and weighing around 110–120kg. Like the other leads, he praises his favorite generation while criticizing others. However, while Kkon-dae and Jam-min's insults stem from a lack of experience or knowledge of other generations, Deok-hu's critiques are based on a certain level of research and gameplay. Because of his wealth of data, he has a solid position as a commentator. He appears to be a freelance worker or an amateur artist who takes commissions. He is often teased for being fat. He loves the 4th and 5th generations of Pokémon. He visits his neighbor Jam-min's house every day.

A male whose real name is A-ssi. He is a 'concept-player' who uses a jumbled mix of dialects from various regions, including North Korea. He has known Kkon-dae since elementary school, but they bicker every time they meet, suggesting they aren't on great terms. However, seeing as they appear as friends at the senior center, they seem to be frenemies rather than true enemies. He loves the 2nd generation and is fond of Chikorita. He deeply cherishes his granddaughter, Jjini.

A female and Nol-bu's granddaughter. Taking after her grandfather, she is a concept-player who only repeats 'Kki-kki-kki,' yet Nol-bu understands everything she says. She mainly likes the 6th and 7th generations and wears large sunglasses. She is the same age as Jam-min.

A male whose original name is Tom; he works as a native English teacher. He reportedly gave himself the name Kim Mal-ttuk to signify his intention to 'drive a stake' (settle down) in Korea. A unique trait is that when he lowers his voice, his Korean sounds remarkably fluent. He is from the United States, is a pacifist, and often tries to stop fights. He loves the 3rd generation.

A male wearing an Agumon hoodie. He loves Digimon immensely and is the head of the Digimon Association in Jam-min's neighborhood. During Pokémon battles, he calls the Pokémon by Digimon names. He is Jam-min's best friend, and they even share their interests with each other (Pokémon <-> Digimon).

A collective term for three boys, described individually below. They all share a fear of the older neighborhood boys, Jam-min and Agu-Agu. Parang-i: A male who mainly does game battles; he is essentially the representative of the group. Norang-i: A male who is relatively sensible but occasionally trolls. Palgang-i: A male who usually plays the role of the straight man, constantly calling others out.

A male often called Grandpa Gensei. Unlike Kkon-dae and Nol-bu, he seems to have a poor relationship with his grandson—or more accurately, his grandson seems to have no interest in him. His defining trait is meddling whenever the characters battle, citing the rules of the senior center or offering unwanted advice. He has a signature interjection he uses when he's flabbergasted (Pa--!).
