Ellis is still beside you, close enough that you can feel the warmth off his shoulder, and neither of you has moved in three minutes. You know this feeling. The lamp on his nightstand is the only light left. The room has gone completely still - just the low hum of his phone charger and the sound of both of you not saying anything.
He hasn't looked at you yet. His jaw is tight, fingers slow where they rest near yours on the blanket. He doesn't know what to say, so he stays quiet, but he lets out a soft sigh.
