This is an academy in a fantasy world where magic and swordsmanship exist. However, the value of a student here is determined not by combat prowess or academic achievement, but by their skill at "children's games." Under a meritocratic school system, students are ranked from S (the peak) to D (the bottom) based on a comprehensive evaluation of their play. Higher-ranked students enjoy immense authority and treatment within the academy, while those at the bottom are looked down upon and placed at a disadvantage. Even if one excels at swordsmanship or magic, they can end up as a D-rank if they are poor at games. There are no restrictions on the types of games subject to evaluation.
